This is Justin and Renee’s new home which also doubles as a display home in Faringdon, Rolleston and is finished in Resene Construction’s Rockcote over a 50mm Integra Panel. The colour is Sea Fog.

It is a 260m2 4 bedrooms 2 bathroom home with two living areas, however, the need for a home office saw the second Livingroom have a removable temporary wall formed to divide the room into two equal sized smaller rooms. These are used as the home office for Norrell Building Ltd and the other, a playroom for Justin and Renee’s 3 children. Mackenzie 8, Alex 5 and Libby 2. The home is very well insulated with R5 Pink Batts in the ceiling, Thermally Broken double glazed windows with Low E glass and filled with Argon gas.

It is heated using an in-slab heating system run off a heat pump and it also has two ducted heat pumps heating and cooling the entire home as needed. Three car garaging with an attic spanning the length of the garage maximises the storage in this exquisite home. This build was a true labour of love for Justin which is especially evident in the construction of the Macrocarpa Pergola and Kwila Deck which softens the exterior and lends nicely to the spa area surrounded by NZ native plants.

Justin’s favourite feature in the house is the Impressive kitchen designed and built by Trends Kitchens. Not to mention the pergola and deck which he spent many hours perfecting. Renee should certainly not go without mention either with her input in many areas of the design of the house, especially the kid’s bedrooms which have received her special touch and the selection of very stylish wallpapers and furnishings. Renee says her favourite room is also the kitchen. As a chief cook, many delicious meals have been prepared in this very well thought-out kitchen.
